Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, agreed with Republicans on Sunday that it was wrong for Democratic operatives to work with the Ukrainian government to dig up opposition research on Trump campaign officials.
“It wouldn’t be appropriate for the Democrats to accept help from the Ukrainian government,” Schiff admitted.
A January Politico report detailed efforts by the Ukrainian government and Democratic operatives to sink the Trump campaign.
