“What CNN did was unfortunate for them,” Trump said.
President Trump, speaking at a press conference with the Polish president on Thursday, said that CNN had taken his wrestling video of their network “too seriously.”
“What CNN did was unfortunate for them, as you know, they now have some pretty serious problems,” Trump said, referencing CNN’s threat to expose the original creator of the video.
“They have been fake news for a long time. They have been covering me in a very dishonest way,” he added.
Trump also hit his former network, NBC, for its coverage.
“We don’t want fake news – bad thing, very bad for our country,” he said.
