Trump Condemns Russian Interference in Election

Donald Trump condemned Russian involvement in the U.S. election, but encouraged them to release Clinton emails earlier this summer.

When pressed by Chris Wallace on whether he would condemn Russia’s involvement in the U.S. election, Trump said he would.

“Of course I condemn,” Trump said, adding: “I don’t know Putin, I have no idea…this isn’t my best friend.”

He also said in Wednesday night’s debate it “wouldn’t be so bad” if the U.S. and Russia got along.
