President-elect Donald Trump sat down with Chris Wallace for an interview on Fox News Sunday.
Wallace asked Trump about only receiving the daily presidential briefing once a week, something that many pundits and members of the media find concerning.
“Well I get it when I need it,” Trump told Wallace.
“These are very good people that are giving me the briefings, and I say ‘if something should change from this point immediately call me I’m available on one minute’s notice,'” Trump went on to clarify. “You know I’m like a smart person. I don’t have to be told the same thing in the same words every single day for the next eight years.”
