In a series of Sunday morning tweets, President Trump called North Korea a “rogue nation” and an “embarrassment to China.”
President Trump confirmed that North Korea had conducted a major nuclear test in a series of Sunday morning tweets and called North Korea a “rogue nation,” and a dangerous threat to the security of the United States.
“North Korea has conducted a major Nuclear Test. Their words and actions continue to be very hostile and dangerous to the United States,” Trump tweeted on Sunday.
Early on Sunday morning, North Korea on state TV said, “it had tested a powerful hydrogen bomb that could be loaded on to an intercontinental ballistic missile.”
According to The Guardian:
“Pyongyang said the test, its sixth since 2006, had been a “complete success” and involved a two-stage thermonuclear weapon of unprecedented strength.”
Trump’s tweet confirms that North Korea was indeed successful in its test of loading a hydrogen bomb onto an intercontinental ballistic missile, which could reach much of the U.S.
Trump also called North Korea, ” a rogue nation which has become a great threat and embarrassment to China, which is trying to help but with little success.”
“South Korea is finding, as I have told them, that their talk of appeasement with North Korea will not work, they only understand one thing!” Trump said on Twitter.
