Trump Holds Up Texas Flag, Tells Crowd “Texas Can Handle Anything”

In a bullhorn speech moment, the president gave impromptu remarks to victims of the hurricane.

President Trump spoke to residents of Hurricane Harvey-affected areas after meeting with elected officials in Texas, offering inspirational words to the crowd.

The president said that the storm had been “epic” and “historic,” but added, “it happened in Texas, and Texas can handle anything.”

Trump then held up a Texan flag to a roar of approval from the crowd.
