“Frank from Falls Church, VA,” joined the White House grounds crew for a day on Friday.
President Trump met with an 11-year-old boy from Falls Church, VA, on Friday, who wrote to Trump last month about how Trump inspired him to start his own lawn care business. The boy also expressed a desire to mow the White House lawn.
White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders read the letter from “Frank from Falls Church, VA,” last month during the White House press briefing.
The Associated Press reported:
“The boy, who Sanders said last month had just turned 11, wrote to Trump that he admires the president’s business background and has started his own neighborhood lawn care business. According to the letter Sanders read to reporters, Frank wrote that it would be his “honor to mow the White House lawn.” Frank also enclosed a menu of his services, which include weed-whacking.”
Trump can be seen supervising “Frank from Falls Church, VA,” mowing the White House lawn in the video and seems to be having a pleasant conversation with the young man.
