President Trump, at a joint press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe Friday, said that his administration would unveil new national security measures “next week.”
A day after a federal court upheld a temporary stay on his executive orders banning citizens of seven countries from entering the United States, Trump defiantly declared that his administration would eventually win the legal challenge.
In addition, Trump’s administration “will be doing something very rapidly having to do with additional security for our country” and that measure would be revealed “next week.”
Trump emphasized the importance of national security, saying, “The voters thought I would give [the United States] the best security.”
