The president told Liberty University’s Commencement that the future belongs to the dreamers.
President Trump, speaking at Liberty University’s 2017 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, said that nothing was “more pathetic than being a critic.”
“No one has ever achieved anything significant without a chorus of critics standing on the sidelines explaining why it can’t be done,” Trump told the graduating students. “Nothing is easier or more pathetic than being a critic.”
Critics are “people that can’t get the job done,” he said.
His shot at critics echoed a theme of his campaign and presidency, that the political establishment had been “all talk and no action.”
“The future belongs to the dreamers, not to the critics,” Trump continued.
