During the 65th National Prayer Breakfast, President Donald Trump attacked Arnold Schwarzenegger for the poor ratings that NBC’s Celebrity Apprentice has received.
Trump, who used to lead the show, was replaced by Schwarzenegger after he elected to run for President of the United States. The show’s ratings have indeed dropped since Schwarzenegger took over.
“When I ran for president, I had to leave the show. That’s when I knew for sure I was doing it. And they hired a big, big movie star, Arnold Schwarzenegger, to take my place. And we know how that turned out,” Trump told the audience. “The ratings went right down the tubes. It’s been a total disaster and [Apprentice creator] Mark [Burnett] will never, ever bet against Trump again.”
Trump closed by asking the audience to pray for Arnold and the show’s ratings.
