The president has found that Washington, D.C. is worse than he thought.
President Trump told the National Boy Scout Jamboree in West Virginia on Monday that he was thinking of changing his descriptor of Washington, D.C. as a “swamp” to new terms like “cesspool” or “sewer.”
“I got to Washington, and I see all these politicians, and I see the swamp, and it’s not a good place,” Trump said. “In fact, today, I said we ought to change it from the word ‘swamp’ to the word ‘cesspool’ or perhaps to the word ‘sewer.'”
Trump told the Boy Scouts gathered that he would much rather be with them than the politicians in Washington, D.C.
