The president highlighted his administration’s work during American Heroes week.
President Trump honored “American heroes” in his weekly address on Friday. “We have celebrated, saluted, and honored American heroes who have devoted their lives to God, family, and country,” he said.
The president then listed the events and actions he had taken in the previous week to pay tribute to the men and women who defend the United States.
“Throughout our history, heroes have answered the call of duty to defend our country in its hour of need,” Trump said. “Heroes are made in America, and we have to take care of our heroes.”
