A TIME-SurveyMonkey poll released Tuesday morning echoes a Washington Post–ABC News poll released Sunday: Trump voters have no regrets about voting for him.
As President Trump nears the 100-day mark of his presidency, two polls released this week confirm that Trump’s voters have no regrets about voting for him in 2016.
A TIME-SurveyMonkey poll released Tuesday morning noted that “virtually all respondents who said they voted for Trump approve of his performance as President, with only 3% saying they regret their decision.”
The TIME poll results echo those of The Washington Post and ABC News, which found on Sunday that only 2 percent of Trump voters regret voting for him, “while 96 percent say supporting Trump was the right thing to do.”
The findings put Trump in a good position going into the 100-day mark, and also imply that Democrats have done little to impress Trump voters since the 2016 election. The latter point should be less surprising, since the Democratic Party has been consumed by disunity, desperation, and profanity in 2017.
