Prior to the vote on the Republican health care plan, Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) said on the House floor Friday that the initials, “GOP,” stood for “Get Old People.”
DeLauro waved a framed sign that corresponded with her “Get Old People” claim.

The congresswoman continued speaking even as her time had expired and only curtailed her full-volume rant when the gavel interrupted her speech.
