Vice President Mike Pence made history by being the first member of the executive branch to speak at the March for Life in Washington, D.C. on Friday.
Pence touted President Trump’s reinstatement of the Mexico City policy, which prevents foreign aid from funding organizations that promote abortions worldwide.
“This administration will work with the Congress to end taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion providers. And we will devote those resources to health care services for women across America,” Pence declared to raucous cheers.
Pence went on to promise the crowd, “Next week, President Donald Trump will announce a Supreme Court nominee who will uphold the God-given liberties enshrined in our Constitution in the tradition of the late and great Antonin Scalia.”
The Trump Administration’s pro-life views prompted Pence to declare that “life is winning again in America.”
