W.H. Chief Of Staff Blasts New York Times & Wall Street Journal Over “False” Reports

White House Chief Of Staff Reince Priebus appeared on Fox and Friends and blasted The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times over its recent reporting.

On Thursday, The Wall Street Journal reported that top intelligence officials were withholding information from President Trump because they think he cannot be trusted.

“It’s totally fake. It’s totally false,” Priebus told Fox News’ Steve Doocy. Priebus then informed Doocy how both the DNI and CIA had released statements denying the story.

On Wednesday, The New York Times reported that members of Trump’s presidential campaign were in constant contact with Russian intelligence officials.

Priebus then told Doocy that top intelligence officials, “have assured me that The New York Times story about constant contacts is grossly overstated and inaccurate.”

Priebus went on to say: “I wouldn’t come on your show and say something like that if I didn’t have a green light and approval to say it. It’s not true. Unless the highest levels of the intelligence community don’t know what they’re talking about, which I highly doubt.”
