“Isn’t that what this is really about?” Wallace asked Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
On Fox News Sunday, host Chris Wallace asked Green Party candidate Jill Stein if her recount is really all about raising money.
Wallace pointed out to Stein that she has raised $6.5 million for the recounts, almost double what she raised throughout her 2016 campaign. It’s also more than six times what Stein raised for her 2012 campaign.
He then asked: “Isn’t that [fundraising] what this is really about?”
Stein responded by asserting the recount money is in a “segregated account,” and then went to talking points on election reform.
Wallace also pointed out that a majority of Americans think voters should accept the results of the election.
