White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus denied that President Trump wants Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) to step down after the Republican plan to repeal and replace Obamacare failed, during an interview on “Fox News Sunday.”

Chris Wallace asked Priebus about a tweet that Donald Trump sent out on Saturday that called for people to watch Judge Jeanine on Fox News at 9 p.m.

Judge Jeanine started her show off by calling on Speaker Ryan to step down.

Chris Wallace asked Priebus if that means President Trump also wants Ryan to resign as speaker.

Priebus told Wallace the tweet was “more coincidental” than anything else.

“Oh, come on,” Wallace responded to that statement.

Priebus went on to say that President Trump does not want Paul Ryan to step down.
