White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest was asked about leaked emails between Democratic megadonor Jeffrey Leeds and Colin Powell.
Specifically, reporters asked Earned about Leeds’ comment, “I don’t think the president would weep if she found herself in real legal trouble. She’ll pummel his legacy if she gets a chance and he knows it.”
Earnest dodged the question entirely and said the White House would not comment on the hacked emails of a private citizen.
