2020 STAFF MOVES: Former Warren Staffers Exit the New Hampshire Democratic Party

Is Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) beginning to staff up before a possible 2020 presidential run? Some evidence indicates that might be the case. Two former staffers reportedly left the New Hampshire Democratic Party on Tuesday, prompting questions about their future career plans.

According to the National Journal’s Hanna Trudo, two former staffers for Warren, who joined the New Hampshire State Democratic Party as political director and communications, have both left.

Gabrielle Farrell, who served as the communication director, and Adrienne Viarengo, who was the political director for the state party during the 2018 election cycle, would both be extremely valuable hires for any Democratic presidential campaign to make, given New Hampshire’s status as the nation’s first primary.

With their past ties to Warren and the Massachusetts senator increasingly looking like she is going to run for president, it seems likely that the two very well may be returning to Warren’s orbit for her upcoming presidential campaign.
