The day after Governor Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) attacked a female reporter for asking about allegations of sexual harassment in his administration by former aides, Cuomo decided to attend a fundraiser with accused sexual harasser and former President Bill Clinton.

The Washington Free Beacon reported on the exchange between Cuomo and the female reporter on Wednesday.

“During a Wednesday press conference, NYS Public Radio’s Karen DeWitt asked the Democrat about former aide Sam Hoyt, who resigned in October after being accused of paying hush money after sleeping with a coworker and was later sued by a second woman for sexual harassment.”

Cuomo had a testy exchange with DeWitt and eventually told her that she was doing “a disservice to women, with all due respect, even though you’re a woman.”

The New York Times’ Shane Goldmacher reported that Bill Clinton would be fundraising for Cuomo, on Thursday.

Bill Clinton has been accused by multiple women of sexual harassment in the past, and even paid one of his accusers $850,000 to settle the case against him.

Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) has even said that if Bill Clinton were president today, he would have had to resign because of the allegations against him.

By fundraising with Clinton, it appears that Cuomo’s political ambitions outweigh the victims of sexual harassment.
