At an anti-Neil Gorsuch rally Saturday, the Center for American Progress’s Campaign Director, Emily Tisch Sussman, said to the crowd that her infant son may one day need unrestricted access to an abortion.

Sussman brought her infant son, Dean, onstage and introduced him to the crowd.

“I don’t know what Dean’s future is going to hold. I don’t know what kind of protections he’s going to need. I don’t know if he’s going to need access to a safe and legal abortion,” Sussman said.

Sussman added that the Supreme Court, with the addition of Gorsuch, would block her son’s ability to obtain abortion services.

Sussman also led off her comments joking about her just months old son and his “white male privilege.”
