Bloomberg At Just 4% In 2020 Poll

A new poll conducted by SSRS for CNN found that former New York City Mayor and billionaire businessman Michael Bloomberg is at just 4 percent among 16 possible Democratic candidates for president in 2020.

The poll, which was conducted by SSRS from October 4 through October 7, found that Bloomberg is tied for seventh with Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX) in the race for the Democratic nomination.

The latest numbers come as Bloomberg, who had been an independent for years, announced earlier this week that he had registered as a Democrat, and then on Saturday, made an appearance at a voting event in New Hampshire.

Former Vice President Joe Biden is leading the crowded field of Democrats with 33 percent followed by Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) with 13 percent.

It’s not all bad news for Bloomberg. He is leading former Attorney General Eric Holder who only received 3 percent support in the poll.

The poll also showed that Americans are growing more confident that President Trump will win reelection in 2020.
