Charles Barkley to Lebron James: “Don’t Ever Shut Up”

"Dribbling’s, like, LeBron’s only fourth thing he’s good at. Shooting, passing, and magically making his hairline come back," Barkley joked.

Former NBA player Charles Barkley told NBA player Lebron James that he should keep dribbling and ‘don’t ever shut up,’ in response to the ongoing feud between Fox News host Laura Ingraham and James. Barkley made the comments while hosting “Saturday Night Live” this weekend.

“I’ve been saying whatever the hell I want for 30 years, and I’m doing great,” Barkley said during his opening monologue. “I’m hosting SNL for the fourth time for no reason.”

“So people don’t want to hear from professional athletes. Like this lady on Fox News who told Lebron James to shut up and dribble,” Barkley continued.

Barkley is referring to comments Ingraham made in response to an interview where James declared President Trump “is someone who doesn’t understand the people and really don’t give a fuck about the people.”

Ingraham said James should “shut up and dribble,” in response to James’ comments regarding Trump.

“Dribbling’s, like, LeBron’s only fourth thing he’s good at. Shooting, passing, and magically making his hairline come back,” Barkley joked.

Barkley then told the audience how athletes could do a lot more than just dribble. “I’m a broadcaster, I wrote a book, I’ve even got my own wine.”

“LeBron, keep on dribbling and don’t ever shut up, and maybe one day, you can host SNL for a fourth time just like me,” Barkley concluded.
