CNN’s Chris Cuomo had to correct Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) on Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation in a Thursday night interview. The New York senator repeatedly claimed that no Democrats voted for Gorsuch’s confirmation, even though, as Cuomo pointed out, three did.

“[Gorsuch] didn’t get a vote from one Democrat,” Gillibrand said during a discussion of President Trump’s next Supreme Court pick.

Cuomo expressed surprise at the senator’s comment, raising his eyebrows.

Gillibrand continued to criticize Gorsuch, claiming he has “undermined basic civil rights in this country,” and hurt “women’s rights” and “union rights.”

“Are you right that he didn’t get one vote? Didn’t he get three?” Cuomo interrupted.

The senator stood by her comments. “He got no Democratic votes,” she said.

“He didn’t get [West Virginia Senator Joe] Manchin, [North Dakota Senator Heidi] Heitkamp?” Cuomo asked again.

“He did not. They stood strong, and they passed it with Republican votes,” Gillibrand said. The senator then looked off screen, confused, asking someone, “Did he?”

“You might be right, Chris,” she finally allowed. “But I believe this Democratic caucus will stand together.”

Gorsuch recieved confirmation votes from Sens. Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND), Joe Manchin (D-WV), and Joe Donnelly (D-IN).
