Debbie Wasserman Schultz Refuses to Address Donna Brazile’s Accusations

Former Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) refused to address accusations levied against her by former interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile on Monday.

Brazile is out with a new book titled, “Hacks,” in which she accuses Wasserman Schultz of poorly managing the DNC during her tenure as chair.

In an op-ed Brazile wrote last week, she accused Wasserman Schultz of not a being a “good manager” of the DNC, citing how Wasserman Schultz’s leadership left the DNC millions of dollars in debt.

Roll Call reported that Wasserman Schultz “declined to comment on the allegations her successor, Brazile, levied against her,” on Monday.

“I am focused on doing the best job that I can to represent my constituents here in Florida’s 23rd District,” Wasserman Schultz told one reporter, who asked her about Brazile’s new book.

Another reporter asked Wasserman Schultz about Brazile’s claim that she was essentially a puppet for Hillary Clinton’s campaign.

“My focus, which is what my constituents elected me to do, is to make sure that I can fight for the things they care about,” Wasserman Schultz responded ducking the question according to Roll Call.
