Did Bill de Blasio Steal Trump’s Rally Slogan?

New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, at a press conference on Monday, stood in front of a sign bearing the slogan, “PROMISES MADE, PROMISES KEPT,” which is a phrase that has been peppered throughout President Trump’s rallies in recent weeks.

According to the New York Daily News‘ Jillian Jorgensen’s photo, the mayor stood in front of the sign along with the New York City school chancellor.

If the sign looks familiar, you may have tuned into a Trump rally in recent months, as the president touts his accomplishments around the country.

De Blasio even used Trump’s color scheme to display the message:

The president, when using the signs, is touting a roaring economy, tax cuts, a closer relationship with Israel, and sanctions on Iran.
