Double Trouble: Two New Ads Highlight Rosen’s Weaknesses in NV-Sen. Race

Two outside political groups allied with Republicans are airing new ads in Nevada this week scrutinizing the record of Rep. Jacky Rosen (D-NV), who’s running for U.S. Senate after less than two years in the U.S. House.

One Nation, a 501(c)(4) group, released an ad called “Growing,” which highlights the strong economy in Nevada and contrasts it with Rosen’s record of voting with House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and “to keep taxes high.”

The Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), meanwhile, is up with an ad, titled “Name,” which goes after Rosen’s dubious claims of building a business.

Rosen is facing Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) in one of the most high-profile U.S. Senate races in the country this year. She may see her standing in the race fall as more Nevada voters see the record exposed in these new ads.
