When CNN’s Alisyn Camerota asked Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) about the possibility of Oprah Winfrey challenging President Trump, the liberal senator fawned over the television star but refused to directly answer the question.

“Wasn’t that a fabulous speech? And hearing Oprah’s voice and her energy and her passion and her determination, it’s inspiring to all of us,” Warren said.

“She shows great leadership and I’m delighted that she’s doing it,” she continued, not specifying what she meant by “it.”

Camerota pressed, asking if Warren is “delighted that [Oprah] may run for president.”

“That’ll be up to Oprah, I don’t think anyone tells Oprah what to do,” Warren responded.

When Camerota again furthered the line of questioning, the Massachusetts senator reverted to her usual talking points on corporations, health care, and immigration.
