"I take this very seriously. This is a serious Constitutional move. My view on this is: protect the special prosecutor."

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) said that she is not yet ready to call for President Trump to be impeached during an interview on ABC’s “The View,” on Monday.

Host Meghan McCain asked Warren whether Democrats should focus on impeaching Trump if they retake the House following the 2018 midterm elections.

“I take this very seriously. This is a serious Constitutional move. My view on this is: protect the special prosecutor, let him finish his work without political interference,” Warren said. “It’s Donald Trump who doesn’t want Mueller to be able to continue an independent investigation.”

McCain followed up by asking again if Warren would support an impeachment bill.

“I’m not there,” Warren said.
