Karen Monahan, who accused Democratic National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair Keith Ellison of domestic abuse while they were dating, bashed Senate Democrats Monday for believing Christine Blasey Ford’s accusations against Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh but not her accusations.

Monahan has accused Ellison, a candidate for attorney general, of emotionally and physically abusing her during their relationship. Monahan said that Ellison once attempted to drag Monahan off his bed, while saying “b***h get the f**k out of my house.”

Ellison has denied the allegations against him. Other than a statement by the DNC saying they would review the accusations, there has been little action taken against Ellison.

On Monday Monahan was asked, “Democrats say believe women, do they believe you” on Twitter, a reference to the allegations against Judge Kavanaugh.

“No, they don’t. I’ve been smeared, threatened, isolated from my own party,” Monahan tweeted. “I provided medical records from 2017, stating on two different Dr. Visits, I told them about the abuse and who did it. My therapist released records stating I have been dealing and healing from the abuse.”
