Michael Rotondo, a 30 year old man who was evicted from his parents’ house this week, went on CNN on Wednesday to tell his side of the story.

He told CNN’s Brooke Baldwin that he wanted to move out of his parents house, but he does not yet have the means.

“Do you have a job?” Baldwin asked.

“No,” he responded.

“Are you trying to get a job?” the CNN host followed up, citing his parents’ demand that he begin to work.

“I have plans to be able to provide myself with the income I need to support myself, but it’s not something that’s going to come together tomorrow,” Rotondo said. “I’m trying to do what’s best for me.”

As Baldwin began to ask the next question, her guest took a water break.

Rotondo’s parents took him to court to evict him from their home after sending him multiple notices.
