FCC Net Neutrality Meeting Evacuated After Security Threat

As the Federal Communications Commission prepared to repeal net neutrality rules, security interrupted the event and forced everyone out of the room.

Security evacuated a Federal Communications Commission meeting on Thursday, as the FCC prepared to repeal 2015 net neutrality rules.

As Commissioner Ajit Pai was delivering remarks, security handed him a note.

“On advice of security, we need to take a brief recess,” he suddenly said.

Security ordered everyone in the room to leave their belongings in the room while they evacuated all attendees. They announced that they had to search the room.
