A new survey released Wednesday showed that federal employees are happier with their work under President Trump than they were under President Obama. A study from the Partnership for Public Service and Deloitte consulting firm showed that, across most departments of the federal government, employee satisfaction has risen from a year ago.

National security departments are much more encouraged now that Trump is in charge, according to the list.

Here are the top 10 departments with the most improved morale:

  • Department of Homeland Security: 6.2 percent increase in happiness.
  • Department of the Army: 4.6 percent increase.
  • Department of Transportation: 4.2 percent increase.
  • Department of Health and Human Services: 4.0 percent increase.
  • Department of the Navy: 3.1 percent increase.
  • Department of the Interior: 2.9 percent increase.
  • Department of the Treasury: 2.8 percent increase.
  • Department of Agriculture: 2.8 percent increase.
  • NASA: 2.3 percent increase.
  • Department of the Air Force: 1.4 percent increase.

Only the Departments of Justice and State saw a marked decrease in employee satisfaction from the Obama years.

In addition to larger federal departments, the vast majority of mid-sized and smaller agencies also saw improved morale under Trump.
