Feinstein Claims Cambridge Analytica Worked with Russia to Spread Propaganda

"Cambridge Analytica worked with the Internet Research Agency to help Russia identify which American voters to target with its propaganda."

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) claimed on Tuesday that Cambridge Analytica worked with Russia to spread propaganda during the 2016 election.

While delivering opening remarks at a joint hearing with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Feinstein was explaining how Cambridge Analytica used the data it acquired from Facebook.

“The reporting has also speculated that Cambridge Analytica worked with the Internet Research Agency to help Russia identify which American voters to target with its propaganda,” Feinstein said.

However, this claim by Feinstein – that reporting has speculated that Cambridge Analytica worked with the Internet Research Agency – may be inaccurate. There doesn’t appear to have been any such speculation. Feinstein may be misinformed or maybe revealing information that she shouldn’t.
