Five New U.S. Senate Polls All Within Margin of Error; GOP Leads in 3 of 5

On Wednesday evening, Fox News released a spate of polls covering some of the top U.S. Senate races this cycle.

The conclusion of the Fox News polls in all five races? They’re all too close to call.

Republicans will welcome the polls in Indiana, North Dakota, and Tennessee, though. In the former two, their challengers look strong against Democratic incumbents Sens. Joe Donnelly (D-IN) and Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND). In Tennessee, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) has a lead in the red state despite going up against popular former Gov. Phil Bredesen (D-TN).

In Arizona and Missouri the Democrats lead, according to Fox News. Still, these two races – and the three contests where Republicans lead – are all within the polls’ margins of error.

The close nature of these races likely means even more election spending between now and November. Prepare for a multimillion-dollar push in each of these states over the next eight weeks.
