Following 2016 Loss, Hillary Clinton Calls American Democracy ‘Broken’

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton referred to the United States as a “broken democracy” in a tweet Wednesday sent in support of the For The People Act.

“To fix our broken democracy, we need automatic voter registration, early voting for everyone, and less money in politics,” Clinton said.

What Clinton didn’t mention is that she herself established a so-called dark money political organization, Onward Together.

“The House passed the #ForThePeopleAct to make those changes. Now it’s up to the Senate,” Clinton added.

Clinton’s tweet included a link to a webpage that directs people to contact their senators to urge them to co-sponsor the For the People Act.
