Sen. Dean Heller (R-NV) is improving his position in the U.S. Senate race against Rep. Jacky Rosen (D-NV), according to a poll released by Reuters on Wednesday.

Heller is up six points on Rosen, according to Reuters. The incumbent senator earns 47 percent of the vote, while Rosen, a freshman congresswoman, earns 41 percent.

Heller is in even better shape than Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), who Reuters found is up five points (49-44) on upstart Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX).

NTK Network has covered before how political observers and reporters left Heller for dead earlier this year. Here’s a small sampling of headlines on Heller from 2017 and 2018:

A lot can happen in the final two weeks, but Heller’s improving poll position could be a boon for GOP hopes to hold the Senate majority on November 6.
