"Every woman of my vintage has not just one story but many stories," Ginsburg said.
Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg said that she was really “turned on by” the #MeToo Movement during an event at Georgetown Law School on Wednesday.
A student asked Ginsburg if there was anything that she was excited or disappointed about with the current #MeToo Movement, and if she would do anything differently.
“I am really turned on by this Me Too,” Ginsburg said. “Because these Me Too complaints, every woman of my vintage has not just one story but many stories, but we thought there was nothing you could do about it because boys will be boys. So just find a way to get out of it.’
Ginsburg then called the #MeToo Movement an example of women coming together in numbers.
“So women no a days are not silent about bad behavior,” Ginsburg added.
