Gov. John Hickenlooper (D-CO) reportedly will decide whether he will run for president in 2020 this summer, according to The Hill.

“My wife and I have been talking about it for a couple of months and talking to old friends whose opinions we respect and trust,” Hickenlooper said on Kaiser Health News’ “What The Health.” “We’ll try and sort through it this summer.”

Hickenlooper, who was rumored to be on Hillary Clinton’s vice president shortlist, is term-limited as Colorado governor and will be leaving office after the 2018 election.

Following the 2016 election, there were rumors that Hickenlooper and Gov. John Kasich (R-OH) would run together in 2020 on something of a unity ticket. Those rumors were given some new life in April, when Kasich tweeted out support for Hickenlooper going to Iowa.
