Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Tuesday that there is “a very significant difference,” between the allegations of sexual misconduct against her husband former President Bill Clinton and those against President Trump.

CNN’s Christiane Amanpour asked Clinton what was different about the allegations of sexual misconduct against her husband, compared to the allegations against Trump and Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“There’s a very significant difference, and that is the intense, long-lasting, partisan investigation that was conducted in the ’90s,” Clinton said. “If the Republicans, starting with President Trump on down, want a comparison, they should welcome such an investigation themselves.”

Multiple women have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct throughout the years.

Juanita Broaddrick has accused Bill Clinton of “raping her in 1978 while Clinton was Arkansas’ attorney general,” according to Business Insider.

Kathleen Willey has accused Bill Clinton of kissing her, fondling her breasts, and “forc[ing] her to touch his crotch during a meeting in the Oval Office in 1993.”

Paula Jones accused Bill Clinton of sexual harassment, and brought a lawsuit against the then-president.

As part of a settlement agreement, Bill Clinton had to pay Jones $850,000.

Then, in 2016, Leslie Millwee accused Bill Clinton of sexually assaulting her in 1980.

Then-First Lady Hillary Clinton attempted to “destroy” the people who accused Bill Clinton of harassment and abuse, according to the New York Times.
