Hillary Clinton Falsely Attacks Judge Brett Kavanaugh

"I would follow Roe v. Wade faithfully and fully," Kavanaugh said in 2006. "That would be binding precedent of the Court. It's been decided by the Supreme Court."

Hillary Clinton Falsely Attacks Judge Brett Kavanaugh

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took to Twitter to falsely attack President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh on Tuesday.

Clinton falsely claimed that if Kavanaugh is confirmed to the Supreme Court, he would “help gut or overturn Roe v. Wade,” the Supreme Court case that legalized abortion.

Despite Clinton’s claims, Kavanaugh has repeatedly said that Roe v. Wade is “settled law,” even telling Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) as much during his confirmation hearing for the Court of Appeals in 2006.

“I would follow Roe v. Wade faithfully and fully,” Kavanaugh said in 2006. “That would be binding precedent of the Court. It’s been decided by the Supreme Court.”
