Former Vice President Joe Biden seemed to suggest that he would have the resident of the trade unions attack Senate candidate Rep. Kevin Cramer (R-ND) while campaigning in North Dakota for embattled Senator Heidi Heitkamp (D-ND) on Thursday.

“Well, let me tell you these guys are amazing. They just stand up, flat out stand up, and say things that are absolutely mind-boggling,” Biden said.

Biden then read a quote from Cramer regarding the ongoing trade war with China where Cramer said that farmers “don’t have a very high threshold for pain.”

“Well, I’ll get the president of the trade union up here. He’ll show him a threshold of pain,” Biden said.
