CNN’s Jake Tapper cut off Senior White House Adviser Stephen Miller on his show on Sunday, abruptly ending the segment while the Trump staffer was attempting to defend the president from attacks in journalist Michael Wolff’s new book.

Arguing with Tapper, Miller told the CNN host that he wanted to provide a defense of President Trump for three minutes, when the network runs negative coverage of Trump 24 hours a day.

Tapper condescended to Miller: “I get it. There’s one viewer that you care about right now. And you’re being obsequious, you’re being a fact totem in order to please him.”

“I think I’ve wasted enough of my viewers’ time,” Tapper said, as Miller tried to continue his argument.

The CNN host went to commercial over Miller’s repeated interruptions.
