Jameis Winston Accused Of Sexual Assault Again

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is facing new allegations of sexual assault, this time from a Scottsdale, Arizona Uber driver.

Pro Football Talk reported about the allegations, on Friday:

“An allegation that Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston groped an Uber driver in March 2016 is reportedly being investigated by the NFL.”

“The driver, identified only as Kate, says that she picked up Winston and others around 2 a.m. on Sunday, March 13 in Scottsdale, Arizona and that Winston sat in the front passenger seat next to her. The group asked to get food at a drive-thru restaurant and, per the driver, Winston “reached over and he just grabbed my crotch” while they were waiting for it to be delivered. She claims Winston held his hand there for three to five seconds.”

This isn’t the first time that Winston has been accused of sexual assault.

While Winston was at Florida State University, he was accused of rape by Erica Kinsman. Kinsman’s story was highlighted in a CNN documentary, “The Hunting Ground.”

FSU eventually settled a lawsuit brought by Kinsman alleging a violation of Title IX by FSU in handling her complaint, for $950,000 in 2016.
