Keith Ellison Bristles at Comparison to Kavanaugh in Radio Interview

Ellison then added that people who compare his case to Kavanaugh's are politically motived.

Democratic National Committee (DNC) Vice Chair and nominee for attorney general of Minnesota, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN), got notably agitated when asked if he saw similarities between the accusations he faces and those made about Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh during a radio interview on Wednesday.

Radio host Dave Lee asked Ellison if he saw similarities between accusations of domestic abuse against himself and accusations of sexual misconduct against Judge Kavanaugh.

“Absolutely not! There are no similarities,” Ellison said when WCCO’s Dave Lee asked him if he saw any similarities. “Every case is separate, different. Every case has its own facts.”

Ellison then added that people who compare his case to Kavanaugh’s are politically motived.

Some could argue that the comparison is, in fact, unfair. But to Kavanaugh, not Ellison.

The allegations of sexual misconduct against Kavanaugh are from more than 30 years ago, and those who have accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct have not provided any corroborating witnesses.

The women who have accused Kavanaugh of sexual misconduct have been treated as heroes by Democrats and members of the media, and the FBI is currently investigating these allegations.

On the other hand, Karen Monahan, who has accused Ellison of emotionally and physically abusing her during their relationship, has provided evidence of Ellison’s abuse in the form of a 2017 medical report, which names Ellison as the abuser.

Monahan, who is a Democratic activist, bashed Senate Democrats for believing Kavanaugh’s accusers while simultaneously smearing her name recently.

While the FBI is conducting a thorough, nonpartisan investigation into Kavanaugh’s accuser’s claims, it is DNC attorneys who are investigating Monahan’s claims.
