A majority of Massachusetts voters don’t want Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to run for president in 2020, according to a new WBUR poll that was released on Wednesday.

According to the poll, 63 percent of likely voters don’t think that Warren should run for president in 2020, while only 22 percent think that senior senator from Massachusetts should run.

The poll also found that Warren is leading her Republican opponent, state Rep. Geoff Diehl (R-Whitman), by 22 points, and that the overwhelming majority of likely voters said that Warren’s DNA test “is not at all important in deciding which candidate to support in the Senate race.”

An overwhelming majority of likely voters, 59 percent, said that they “would be more likely to support a candidate who makes it a priority to stand up to President Trump.”
