Mark Judge, who is a longtime friend of Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, “vehemently” denied allegations made Wednesday that he and Kavanaugh attended parties in the 1980s where “gang rapes” occurred.

Julie Swetnick, in a statemetn shared by her attorney Michael Avenatti, accused Kavanaugh and Judge of attending high school parties in the 1980s where “gang rapes” repeatedly occurred.

The Daily Caller News Foundation is now reporting that Judge “vehemently denies Ms. Swetnick’s allegations.”

“Mark is not speaking publicly until the Kavanaugh confirmation proceeding is concluded,” Judge’s attorney, Barbara Van Gelder, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. She added that “[h]e vehemently denies Ms. Swetnick’s allegations.”
