Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) sounded off on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report, which found no collusion between President Trump’s campaign and the Russian government, saying that it “is not the end of anything” during an interview on Sunday.

Mueller completed his almost two-year investigation into Trump on Friday, and according to the summary of the report that Attorney General William Barr sent to congressional leaders on Sunday, Mueller found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

MSNBC’s Joy Reid asked Waters whether she agrees with the Trump supporters who have said that Mueller’s report exonerates the president, that America should move on from these investigations, and other planned investigations should come to an end.

“This is not the end of anything,” Waters said. “This is the— well, it’s the end of the report and the investigation by Mueller, but those of us who chair these committees have a responsibility to continue with our oversight.”

“There’s so much that needs to be, you know, taken a look at, at this point,” Waters added, “and so it’s not the end of everything.”
