May Drops the Mic in Her Final Clash with Corbyn Before UK Election

Prime Minister Theresa May forcefully argued for continued Conservative Party leadership in the UK, and blasted Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party, in her final PMQs (prime minister’s questions) before a June 8 snap election in the UK.

May argued a vote for a Labour-led government is “a vote for a chaotic Brexit,” “a vote to weaken our economy,” and “a vote for a coalition of chaos” and a “weak leader” in Corbyn.

Corbyn shook his head, smirked, and could only look on as enthusiastic Conservative members of Parliament cheered on May.

May’s Conservatives have a near-historic lead in the polls heading into the snap election. The latest Ipsos MORI poll has the Conservatives – also known as Tories – up six points from March at 49 percent. Labour has only about half the Tories’ support, at around 26 percent.
